Rebuilding the African Continent is our Calling

WHO WE ARE

The Busisiwe Bhembe Foundation was created to honour the life and legacy of a remarkable mother who gave everything to help her children succeed. Known for her kindness and servant leadership, Busisiwe Bhembe showed love through action—caring not only for her family but also for others in her community.

After her passing in January 2021 due to COVID-19, her daughter Colisile Tfwala was inspired to carry on her spirit of service by giving back to Africa. The Foundation is built on love for the continent, strong faith in God, and a deep belief that Africans can change their lives and uplift others.

Since its inception, the Foundation has empowered thousands of individuals across Eswatini, Lesotho, and South Africa through financial literacy, youth mentorship, and entrepreneurship development. Its vision is to reach and empower at least 1 billion Africans and people of African descent to build generational wealth, transform their lives, and drive the continent’s transformation.

The Busisiwe Bhembe Foundation is an authentic registered non-governmental organisation in the Kingdom of Eswatini. It was registered in 2021, with registration number R7/61076. To facilitate and streamline contributions from our global partners and supporters, the Foundation has partnered with Seven Pillars Community Development Center (SPCDC), a 501(c)(3) organisation registered in the US.
